These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Can Ertürk, an independent developer based in Türkiye, the maker of MoneyGoose (“the App”, “we”, “us”). They apply alongside Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which you can read at apps.apple.com/story/id1449413178. If the two ever conflict about the licence to use the App itself, Apple's terms win. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
The App is a self-awareness tool that helps you pause before a purchase, record what you decided, and keep a streak of days you resisted an impulse buy. Its prompts are written by us and chosen on your device.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App, or 16 in countries that set that age for digital services, and old enough to enter a contract where you live. If you use the App on an account managed by a parent or guardian, they accept these Terms on your behalf.
Everything the App shows — prompts, totals, streaks, summaries — is for general information and self-reflection only. It is not financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and it must not be relied on as such. Speak to a qualified professional before making financial decisions. Your choices, and their consequences, remain yours.
Prices and product names read from screenshots or shop pages are recognised automatically and can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date; please check anything that matters. We do not promise that using the App will save you any particular amount, or any amount at all. The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Full access is sold as an auto-renewable subscription. The title, length, and price of each plan are shown on the purchase screen before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before that. Prices may differ by country and can change; where the law requires it, Apple will ask for your agreement before charging a higher price.
You can cancel at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period runs to its end. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, your statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days applies through that same Apple process.
Use the App lawfully and for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not attempt to break, reverse engineer, resell, or interfere with it, except where the law expressly permits you to.
When you share a shop link into the App, it reads that page to fill in a name and price. Those sites are not ours: we do not endorse them, we are not responsible for what they contain or charge, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You also agree to comply with any third-party terms that apply while you use the App, including your mobile carrier's.
This agreement is between you and us, not with Apple, and we alone are responsible for the App and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for it. If the App fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the price you paid; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation whatsoever, and any other claims relating to the App are our responsibility, including product liability, any claim that the App infringes someone's intellectual property, and claims under consumer protection or similar law. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
You may stop using the App and delete it at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or use the App in a way that harms other people, and we may stop offering the App or any of its features — if we withdraw a paid feature during a period you have already paid for, you can seek a refund through Apple.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost savings, profits, or data, arising from your use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, where the App is made, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction over disputes about them.
That choice does not take away rights you already have. If you use the App as a consumer, you keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there where local law gives you that right. Nothing in these Terms is meant to limit those protections.
If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable where you live, that part is treated as removed and the rest continues to apply.
