MoneyGoose (“the App”) is made by Can Ertürk, an independent developer based in Türkiye. For the small amount of information described below, that person is the data controller. You can reach us any time at support@moneygoose.app.
The App runs on your device. There are no accounts, no servers of ours, and no analytics. Your purchase notes, photos, voice notes, history and onboarding answers stay on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud database. We cannot see any of it.
When you capture a screenshot or receipt, speak a note, or type a purchase, that content is read and turned into text on your device using Apple's built-in intelligence. Images, audio, and the text taken from them are never sent to us or to anyone else. Voice recordings are discarded as soon as they are transcribed.
Three things leave your device, and none of them is personal information about you.
• Shared shop links. When you share a product link into the App, it opens that page to read the item's name and price, the same way your browser would. The shop's server sees that request, including your IP address, and the shop's own privacy policy applies to it. Nothing about you is sent by us, and we receive nothing back from the shop.

• Your own iCloud backup, handled by Apple — see the Storage section.
Reminders are scheduled on your device by iOS itself. There is no push server and no notification token is sent anywhere.
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, browsing activity, or any financial account details. We use no advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics, and no tracking technologies, and we build no profiles of you for any purpose.
Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment card details. To know whether a subscription is active, the App uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service acting as our processor. RevenueCat receives a random identifier generated by the App, the product purchased, and its renewal dates — never your name, email, Apple ID, payment details, or anything you record in the App. That information is stored by RevenueCat in the United States, under the safeguards in its own agreements and privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy. Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis for this processing is performance of our contract with you; Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Your data is stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework, protected by your passcode and the device's own encryption. When you are signed into iCloud, Apple's CloudKit keeps a copy in your private iCloud database so your history survives a lost or replaced phone. That copy belongs to your Apple ID: only you can reach it, and we have no way to read, restore, or delete it.
Settings → Delete All Data erases everything the App holds. Deleting the App removes the local copy; the iCloud copy is removed under Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. Because we hold no copy of your content, there is no retention period on our side and nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
Everything the App records lives on your device and in your own iCloud, so you can see, correct, export, or destroy it yourself at any time without asking us.
If you are in the EU, the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing. The only data we hold that could reach you is the pseudonymous subscription record described above; write to support@moneygoose.app and we will act within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
If you are in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, or another U.S. state with a privacy law, you have comparable rights of access and deletion. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and because we run no tracking of any kind, Global Privacy Control signals are honoured by default.
If you are in Türkiye, the KVKK gives you equivalent rights; the same address applies.
The App is not directed to children. It is intended for people aged 13 and over, or 16 and over in countries that set that age for digital services, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will look into it.
If this policy changes, we will revise the Last Updated date above and, where the law requires it, tell you inside the App. Continuing to use the App after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
